Florida nonprofit has to rework budget after cuts to arts funding
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Another nonprofit organization is scrambling to rework its operating budget now that the governor has vetoed $32 million in arts funding. The Young Singers of the Palm Beaches is a community-based children's choir that has been around for 23 years. Administrators were expecting to receive about $90,000 in funding, but they will now have to regroup.
