Young Singers Expands with North County Choir

Florida Weekly - Palm Beach Edition
The Young Singers of the Palm Beaches, a community children’s choir, launches a new satellite choir in North County.
This new choir will follow in the footsteps of their successful South County choir and will welcome young vocalists in grades 3 through 5 from all schools or homeschool settings in the northern part of Palm Beach County.
The new North County choir will be led by YSPB Conductor Terrion Nelson, a respected music educator and performer in Palm Beach County. With over 30 years of experience teaching and directing choral ensembles, Nelson brings a wealth of expertise and a deep passion for youth music education to the choir.

This expansion addresses the growing demand for accessible and high-quality music programs in the northern areas of Palm Beach County.

Just like their South County counterpart, the new North County choir allows children to come together and form a community that celebrates diversity and collaboration through music. It’s an exciting opportunity for children to develop their musical abilities while making lasting friendships.

For over two decades, YSPB has provided exceptional musical opportunities for young people, nurturing local talent and helping them grow confident and creative individuals. With the addition of the North County satellite choir, the organization continues its mission to expand access to high-quality choral education across the region.
The new YSPB North County Choir will rehearse at First Presbyterian Church, 717 Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach, on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m.

Auditions are now open. No prior choral experience is required. For more information, visit www.yspb.org
