FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: October/November 2025
Young Singers of the Palm Beaches (YSPB) is delighted to announce the continuation of its free afterschool choral and music programs for the 2025–2026 school year, made possible through generous funding from Prime Time Palm Beach County.
Through this partnership, YSPB will bring high-quality music education to more than a dozen elementary schools and out-of-school-time care sites across Palm Beach County, with several locations hosting multiple programs.
The Prime Time Young Singers Program is supported by Prime Time Palm Beach County, which receives significant funding from the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County, Inc. This year, YSPB has been awarded $248,949, allowing the organization to continue and expand its vibrant afterschool music initiatives.
Since 2012, YSPB has proudly served as a provider of Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) programs through Prime Time Palm Beach County. These programs go far beyond teaching children how to sing and the fundamentals of music. They nurture essential life skills, helping young participants build confidence, develop teamwork, strengthen literacy and math skills, explore global cultures through music, and gain an appreciation for the arts in a safe and joyful environment.
The mission of Young Singers of the Palm Beaches is to teach life skills through music, and their after-school choir programs perfectly embody that mission.
Prime Time Palm Beach County works to help children and youth succeed by improving and expanding the quality of out-of-school-time programs across the county.
Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County is an independent special district, established by voters in 1986 and reauthorized in 2014. The Council provides leadership, funding, and research to ensure that Palm Beach County’s children grow up healthy, safe, and strong.
