Jan Fulford

Jan Fulford lives in Royal Palm Beach and teaches a full and active piano studio. She is currently the organist for United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches and has served as organist at several churches in Palm Beach County for the past 38 years. In 2016 she retired after 28 years of teaching in the Palm Beach County School District thus allowing her to pursue her passion…. all things MUSIC!!

Ms. Fulford earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano Performance at Palm Beach Atlantic University, followed by a Master of Education degree at Florida Atlantic University. She studied both organ and piano with Marlene Woodward-Cooper, Dr. Jack W. Jones, Dr. Arnold Bauer, Dr. Anne Turgeon, and Dr. Kirsten Hellman.

She is currently Dean of the Palm Beach County Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, President of Palm Beach County Music Teachers Association, and Festival Chair for the Royal Poinciana District-Palm Beach Area of Florida Federation of Music Clubs. She is also on the board of Florida State Music Teachers Association. Ms. Fulford is an adjudicator for PBCMTA, Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools, and for National Federation of Music Clubs Festivals.
