Melanie Seewaldt de Langhoff is an Argentina native and proud to be a product of Palm Beach County’s middle school and high school music programs. After earning her B.M. in Music Education from Palm Beach Atlantic University, graduating magna cum laude, she went on to teach in the general elementary classroom receiving her dual certification in Elementary Education K-6 and Music Education K-12. She loves to incorporate multiple disciplines in her approach to music.

 

Melanie has been teaching elementary music at North Grade K-8 for seven years where she has led a choir, Orff ensemble, elementary band and middle school band. She is passionate about infusing her Orff Schulwerk training into her teaching. Melanie is so grateful to have been able to host a Prime Time Young Singers choir through YSPB for the past seven years and now joins the core YSPB team as Da Capo’s director, where she looks forward to fostering a solid foundation for YSPB’s youngest members.
