Kelly Horan

Kelly Horan has been a dedicated member of the Young Singers family for over 12 years, initially joining as a parent volunteer before becoming part of the staff in 2019. In her current role as Administrative Assistant and Coordinator for the Baxter Scholars, she works closely with our students to support their growth and future aspirations.

 

Kelly holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College and is a certified School Counselor for grades K-12. Her early career experience includes serving as a middle school Guidance Counselor and a Social Worker for the Department of Children and Families in the Boston area. She has also worked in the Palm Beach County School District as a substitute teacher and continues to volunteer in various capacities. 

 

Passionate about helping young people succeed, Kelly has played a key role in launching the college preparation sessions at YSPB and is excited to lead the organization’s first-ever college tour for our singers.

 

She and her husband, Pete, are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters, one of whom is a YSPB alumna and currently attends the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati.
