YSPB gets help from a Radio City Rockette (Florida Weekly)

A Radio City Rockette is coming to town.

Young Singers of the Palm Beaches will have Radio City Rockette Lori Barber Ramirez choreographing numbers for their upcoming holiday show, “Winter Dreams,” and teaching their singers dance routines.

“Winter Dreams” will be on the mainstage — Dreyfoos Hall — of the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach on Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15-$45 and can be purchased through the center’s box office, 561-832-7469, or online at www.kravis.org/ winterdreams.

“Winter Dreams,” YSPB’s annual holiday concert, will feature 350 young people from public, private and home schools throughout the county and will feature a breadth of musical styles and songs, a news release said.

Ms. Ramirez, a Radio City Rockette for 12 years. will be staying with Young Singers, Palm Beach County’s award-winning community-based children’s choir, through the season, planning choreography for their spring concert “Broadway and Beyond” on May 19 at the center.
